The Boulder Jewish Festival is marching on from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday between 13th Street and 14th Street on the Pearl Street Mall. It’s the same area in which the antisemitic firebombing attack occurred on June 1.

In light of the attack, which injured 15 people, there will be increased security, according to the Boulder Jewish Community Center website. Run for Their Lives, which advocates for the release of 58 dead and alive hostages held by Hamas and was the target of the attack, will be “centered” during the festival, according to a statement on the JCC website.

“We recognize that each one of us holds a range of emotions — from fear to pride, from anger to the joy of being part of the Boulder Jewish community,” the statement reads. “With this festival, we hope to provide the space
