CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) - Much-needed changes are coming to a park in Clarksville. It's being expanded and transformed to be more inclusive, allowing people with disabilities to enjoy it.

Ewing Burchett Park is one of the few parks in the north Clarksville area, and thanks to a grant from the county's health foundation, it will soon be bigger and better.

The city's parks director said the current playground is really outdated, so it needed an update anyway, but after getting feedback from the community about what was important to them.

Park leaders decided to completely resurface the playground so that parents and children with wheelchairs or mobility issues can access it easily.

Other things that the community requested were swings and bright colors, so park leaders are implementing
