Two people are seeking the Park City mayor’s office, offering voters a choice between someone with Marsac Building experience and a political outsider.
Park City Councilor Ryan Dickey and Jack Rubin, who has an extensive business background, are vying for the community’s top political post. There are not enough candidates to force the mayoral field into a primary election.
Dickey is expected to campaign on what he sees as accomplishments at the Marsac Building during his time in office. The platform will also include issues like plans for the development of a senior citizens center, the future of City Hall acreage in Bonanza Park and preparations for the 2034 Winter Olympics with the desire the Games can be leveraged with long-term community investments.
