PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A third person has been indicted in an ongoing investigation into an Arizona clinic that allegedly offered full-body scans with “smart chip technology.” Federal officials said it was fraud by “extracting millions of dollars from their clients by means of false claims.”
On Thursday, a federal grand jury in Philadelphia indicted Janmarie Lanzo, of Lake Havasu City, on a charge of conspiracy to defraud the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The indictment claims Lanzo was a business associate of Mary and Fred Blakley and their Blakley Clinics in Arizona. Mary and Fred Blakley have been in federal custody since they were indicted on charges of mail fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy to defraud the FDA.
