A 75-year-old St. Catharines resident has been arrested following an indecent act in Lakeside Park.

Niagara Regional Police responded to the Port Dalhousie park at 7:45 p.m. Thursday after receiving a report of a man in the area of the carousel and beach touching himself inappropriately.

Police said the man was described as white and in his 60s with white hair and wearing a dark-coloured shirt and beige pants.

Witnesses directed police to the suspect, who was arrested and charged with an indecent act.
