You might recall my recent reporting of the events surrounding the car accident of Richard Womack Jr., state Rep. Richard Womack's son. When the Arkansas State Police trooper processing the scene was completing his paperwork, he left his patrol car, walked to Womack Jr.'s unoccupied truck from behind, opened the driver's door, reached in, and tugged on the seat belt. Thereafter, the trooper cited Womack Jr. for not wearing his seat belt.
