Inspired by nature and music, artist Anne Varick enters a new realm of expressionism.

At a pre-opening reception, guests viewed exquisite other-dimensional art by Varick. Tim Bessell’s studio in La Jolla served as the perfect venue. For those who aren’t acquainted, Bessell’s surfboard art has been featured at prominent museums worldwide.

Among the guests were board members of the San Diego Museum of Art, Dr. Katherine Schwab, whose Parthenon drawings have been featured worldwide, as well as stars of the surf world, Tyler Calloway and Jon Roseman.

All were there except the featured artist, who was unfortunately unable to come due to a recent injury. Doctor’s orders. No worries, she will be coming later this month. Don’t miss this exciting exhibit.
