DAVIDSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) - Some Davidson County property values could be changing again. Homeowners who challenged their recent property assessment should be getting their answers in the mail soon.

It was a record-breaking year, the assessor's office said they had more people than ever request a review of their recent reassessment. Over 19,000 informal review appeals were made.

The assessor's office said the historic number has to do with population growth and major property value increases. In 2021, the median increase was 34%. This year, it skyrocketed to 45%.

The assessor's office said property is going up the most in the western portion of the county. However, most of the review requests were made in the southeast part of Davidson.
