FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WBAY) - Walleye Weekend is back in Fond du Lac; many people gather on Friday at Lakeside for day one of the festival.
The free event helps fundraise for several local charities and non-profits, all while providing some food, fun, live music, and of course, a competitive fishing tournament.
Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac once again hosts the 46th annual Walleye Weekend for three days of outdoor fun for everyone.
The first round of guests walking into the park at 3 p.m. on Friday. Several people are heading for all the popular grilled and fried food options.
Many anglers also here early completing their registration as they prepare for Saturday’s Mercury National Walleye Tournament.
