After a thorough and specific interview and vetting process, Timothy Payne, current principal of Mount Anthony Union High School, was selected as the new superintendent of the Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union [SVSU]. Starting July 1, he will assume this position. The week before graduation, Payne sat down with the Banner in his office at MAUHS to discuss path, perspective, the issues at hand and the mindset of an incoming superintendent.
