DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — The Decatur Police Department says a man has turned himself in after an early morning shooting that happened in the parking lot of Polyplex.

On June 6 at about 5:11 a.m., officers with DPD responded to a call of a shooting in the parking lot of Polyplex USA, located at 3001 Mallard Fox Drive NW.

When officers arrived, they found an injured man had left the scene in his vehicle to get medical assistance. The man stopped at Decatur Fire Station 2, where fire personnel helped him until EMS arrived. He was later taken to Huntsville Hospital to get treated.

Detectives with DPD’s Criminal Investigation Division responded to investigate. During the investigation, detectives identified 22-year-old Jamison Gladney as the suspect. A warrant for first-degree assault was obta
