SPOKANE, Wash. – Detectives from the Spokane County Investigative Unit (SCIU) identified and arrested a suspect in connection to two recent construction site burglaries.

The first incident was reported on May 7, taking place in North Spokane County. According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the suspect stole more than three thousand dollars worth of new lumber, OSB sheets and a large amount of lap siding from the business.

The second incident was reported on May 27, taking place in Spokane Valley. According to the SCSO, the suspect cut a fence and disabled cameras, causing nearly one thousand dollars in damages, before stealing roof underlayment with an estimated value of three thousand dollars from a business.
