Camillus, N.Y. — The Camillus Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle that struck a bicyclist Wednesday and left the scene.

Around 7:45 a.m., the bicyclist was hit and injured by a car near the intersection of Warners and Airport roads, according to Camillus Capt. Jim Nightingale.

The suspect vehicle has not been identified, but police believe it is a light-colored or tan midsize SUV, Nightingale said.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police at 315-487-0102 and reference case number DR25-324712 or submit tips anonymously via TIP411.
