After the softball and baseball players dazzled on the diamond Friday night, it is time for the football players and cheerleaders to be in the spotlight.

The 15th Annual FCA Heart of a Champion Bowl, sponsored by Chick-fil-A, is scheduled for Saturday at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium in Tyler.

Kickoff on Earl Campbell Field is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 with children under 10 $5.

Robert Bardin, Northeast Texas Chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes director, said the Heart of a Champion games are fund-raisers for the FCA ministry in northeast Texas.

The All-Stars are nominated by their coaches for football, cheer, baseball and softball. Some 120 players and 40 coaches and volunteers are participating.
