(KRON) -- Talk about a 'beauty haul.' An Oakland woman was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $1,000 in beauty products from a Colma-area Target, says the Colma Police Department.

Colma PD says its officers were alerted at 4:11 p.m. on Friday, May 30 to a theft at 5001 Junipero Serra Boulevard. Police say the suspect ran away with stolen goods as the store's security tried to detain her. She tried to flee again when officers spotted her in the Target parking lot but was taken into custody a short chase later, says CPD.

Police say the suspect, identified as Maurisha Hudson, 29, was arrested for the alleged crimes of burglary, grand theft and resisting/obstructing a police officer. Hudson was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
