DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) -- The Decatur Public Library is welcoming people ages 16+ for a video game event including challenges across many different consoles this weekend.

On Saturday, the library is hosting the Clash of Generations Video Gaming Challenge Event. This event is a part of the library's year-long 150th anniversary celebration, as they are partnering with Clash of Generations creator Brenden Kuzel to offer a chance to try out his video gaming contest set across multiple consoles and games throughout digital gaming history.

Participants aged 16 and up can play to complete challenges across different video game systems. From some of the first gaming systems like Atari, to the latest like PlayStation and Xbox, registered participants will be able to play set challenges at stations
