CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — A new travel ban backed by President Donald Trump is set to go into effect Monday, barring entry to the United States from 12 countries in response to a recent terror attack in Colorado.
The policy shift follows an incident in Boulder, where an Egyptian national living in the U.S. illegally allegedly firebombed a group of protesters. The demonstrators had gathered to call for the release of hostages held by Hamas.
