TROIS-RIVIÈRES, Qué. — Here is a closer look at Friday’s Game 4 of the ECHL Kelly Cup finals between the Toledo Walleye and the Trois-Rivières Lions.
THREE STARS
1. Luke Cavallin, Lions: Like he has from Game 2 onward, the Trois-Rivières goaltender frustrated the Walleye, stopping 30 out of 31 shots and foiling several Grade A chances during a pair of Toledo power plays in the third period.
2. Vincent Sévigny, Lions: Scored the go-ahead goal with 9:15 to go in the game, his second goal of the playoffs.
3. Jacon Paquette, Lions: Opened scoring at 7:32 of the second period with his first playoff goal of the season.
TURNING POINT
After killing a Toledo power play in which the Walleye had several strong scoring opportunities, Sévigny was fed on the point on the side opposite the benches.
