GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A crowd of people and veterans gathered at Leicht Park on Friday to protest the Trump administration on the anniversary of D-Day.
It was also meant to honor those who were involved in the D-Day invasion, which took place 81 one years ago.
Many people held signs and displayed flags. Several speakers also spoke out, voicing concern over the policies of the president, on a variety of issues.
“My thoughts on that would be getting financial interests out of our political system,” Casey Broome, U.S. Army veteran said.
“More local facilities like here which is fantastic. More money. More benefits particularly, and the maintenance of the VA,” Larry Sarver, U.S. Navy veteran said.
