JONES COUNTY, Ga. — Jones County was being represented on one of the biggest stages in sports. Former Athlete of the Week Torrez Finney aka 'The Punisher', made his UFC debut in April.

"If you would have told me in 2019 or early 2020 this would have been you, I would have never believed you because like this ... 'No, I'm not into fighting,'" Finney laughed.

Growing up, there was one sport that Finney wanted to play.

"I love football. Football was my heart that's all I played," the former linebacker said.

In 7th grade, his curiosity led him to wrestling, but Finney said he almost walked out the door.
