Animal Allies to host annual ‘Walk for Animals’

DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) -Duluth’s Animal Allies will host its annual fundraising event, Walk for Animals, at 9 a.m. Saturday at Bayfront Festival Park.

The event aims to raise money to provide food, shelter and medical treatment to pets in need. As of now, the rescue has raised over $25,000 toward its $53,000 goal.

In addition to the walk, the event will feature food trucks, vendor booths and pet-friendly activities. Pets are allowed on the walk but must be leashed and up to date on vaccinations.
