LUBBOCK, Texas -- Bobby Rex was in his mobile home Thursday when severe weather hit and the area him and his daughter were caught in a tornado warning. Rex saw the tornado from his window and saw it hurdling toward them.

"Then had my daughter in the bathtub wearing my body armor and my helmet and had blankets on her and had the dogs in there, and I ran in there jumped on top of her," Rex said.

When they were in the bathroom, that's when they felt motion.

"Felt the trailer pick up and bounce. One my little dogs jumped out and then I felt it roll," Rex said.

Rex and his daughter were taken to University Medical Center, where they both had injuries.

"My daughter's got uh scrapes and contusions to her head and her wrist and she dislocated her elbow," Rex said. "Then I've got scrapes to my
