SOUTHERN ILLINOIS — There were some great individual seasons for girls soccer this spring.

Murphysboro junior Izzy Doerr found the back of the net 42 times (tied for sixth-most in the state), assisted in 13 additional goals, and totaled 97 points.

Carbondale sophomore Sara Schurz netted 40 goals (tied for 13th-most in the state), seven assists, and 87 total points.

Marion’s dynamic duo of sophomore Kali Wallace and freshman Carleigh Midgett. Each scored 34 goals (tied for 23rd-best in the state) and recorded 19 assists.
