DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - As the Festival Sail glides into Duluth in July, organizers are planning on reaching new heights.

Earlier this week, USA Diving announced that the Superior Diving Challenge will hold the first-ever outdoor high diving competition in the Midwest at the Superior-Duluth Harbor Seawall.

“This is really kickstarting a new type of event, and we hope we can do future diving events here in the next few years,” said Jeff Stark, President of Winterfell Marketing. “Even potentially bring an international, national championship-level event to these shores.”
