The Stanley Cup rematch between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers is already an instant classic.

This series has had everything through the first two games and after Friday, that includes a Panthers victory.

Brad Marchand scored the game-winner in Game 2, 8:05 into double overtime, as the puck squeaked through Stuart Skinner’s legs on a breakaway deke. Florida won 5-4 and series is now tied 1-1.

It was Marchand’s second goal of the game, as he scored a shorthanded breakaway in the second period that very nearly stood up as the game-winner.

The game went to overtime thanks to Corey Perry, who tied the game for Edmonton with just 18 seconds left in the third period. It nearly blew the roof off Rogers Place in Edmonton.
