An unused paddling pool in Queen's Park is to be replaced with a new children's splash pad with the hope the work can be complete by next summer.
The paddling pool in the North West London park was closed in 2020 due to Covid restrictions and has since sat empty. It was installed in 1999.
While there is a desire to reopen it by the City of London Corporation , which manages the park, and the local community, a combination of the required repairs and ongoing costs to do so have prevented it coming back into use.
