Nationwide Building Society is due to send millions of customers a £100 bonus in June, but not everyone is eligible for the cash boost.
It comes as part of the lender's 'Fairer Share' initiative, which will see £400 million divided and sent out to customers in the coming weeks.
The building society is doing this partly because of its hefty year-end profit of £2.3 billion following its acquisition of Virgin Money last year.

Eligibility for the £100 is straightforward; customers simply need to have a current account with Nationwide.
This account needs to have been active since 31st March, 2025, at the latest, so anyone racing to open accounts now will no longer be eligible for the money.
