GOSHEN – A 47-year-old Middletown has pled guilty in Orange County Court to criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Under the plea agreement at the time Raymond Burnett pled guilty, it is expected that he will be sentenced to six years in prison followed by three years of post-release supervision when sentenced in August.
The conviction is Burnett’s seventh felony and 35 th total criminal conviction.
It was alleged that Middletown City Police had initiated an investigtion of drug trafficking and as part of that, Barnett sold fentanyl to an undercover officer.
The following month, armed with a search warrant, police recovered crack cocaine packaged for sale in his residence.
