A Naugatuck man received a 10-year federal prison sentence on Friday after he was caught in possession of child sexual abuse materials while on state probation for child exploitation offenses.

Travis Tilley, 41, of Naugatuck, was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge Kari A. Dooley in Bridgeport to 120 months in prison followed by 15 years of supervised release after previously pleading guilty to possession of child pornography on March 6, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office .

Court records show that, in 2019, Tilley was convicted in state court of risk of injury to a child for sexually abusing of a 5-year-old as well as possessing child sexual abuse materials.
