Home Inside the Globe: Embracing Our Human Family, a new memoir by Hudson Valley author and empowerment pioneer Gail Straub, takes readers on a soul-searching, globe-trotting journey. The book contains vivid tales from her international travels with deep introspection and a unifying message for polarized times. To celebrate the book’s release, Straub will appear locally on June 10 at Oblong Books in Rhinebeck in conversation with Carla Goldstein; June 15 at Golden Notebook’s event at St. Gregory’s Church in Woodstock with Nina Shengold; and June 26 at the ShoutOut Saugerties Writers Out Loud Series at Ohana Café with Bev Donofrio.
