WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, who has been out of action since April 2025 with significant injuries, will be appearing at today’s WWE x AAA Worlds Collide special event in Los Angeles “in some fashion,” according to a report from PWInsider.com .
Mysterio was forced to pull out of his scheduled WrestleMania 41 match after suffering a torn groin. He has been in recovery since undergoing surgery.
While he will not be competing, his presence could be significant for the inaugural WWE and AAA crossover show. His faction, the LWO, is scheduled for a major trios match on the card, as Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Lince Dorado (who replaced the injured Joaquin Wilde) take on AAA’s Octagon Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana.
