SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - We get a break from afternoon storms for most of the Suncoast through the weekend. Hazy conditions (and incredible sunrise and sunsets) with Saharan dust over Florida. The Low Pressure from earlier in the week has moved far to the Northeast and a quieter weather pattern holds until at least Monday. We are still in Rainy Season, so we will gradually get back to afternoon thunderstorms for the coming week.
Dew points hold the mid-70s for several days. Highs will climb to the upper 80s near the coasts. Our sea breeze out of the Southwest will give a slight “cool down” near the coasts. Inland we’ll see low 90s for high temperatures.
