CHARLESTON — Nearly three years after a stand-in actor for the popular TV show "Outer Banks" was struck and killed by an accused drunken driver, Uptown Social has been looped into the fray for allegedly over-serving the suspect.

Alexander "AJ" Dmitry Jennings, 22, died from injuries after two vehicles struck him and drove off on Sol Legare Road on James Island in the early-morning hours of July 5, 2022.

Jennings, a New York native, had been a stand-in actor on Netflix's "Outer Banks," filmed in Charleston, according to prior reporting by The Post and Courier.
