(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a suspect allegedly assaulted a woman and damaged a vehicle while riding the hood in southern Colorado Springs.
According to CSPD, on Friday, June 6, at around 2:30 p.m., officers were called to the 4400 block of Hunting Meadows Circle near Chelton Road and South Academy Boulevard about an active disturbance between a man and a woman. Police said the man allegedly assaulted the woman, and he was seen damaging an involved vehicle while riding on the hood of it in traffic on Chelton Road.
The victim was later found and taken to the hospital due to injuries sustained during the disturbance. Police determined that a knife was allegedly used by the suspect during the altercation.
