Grass Valley, CA—The Rotary Club of Grass Valley presented the Associated Student Body leaders of Union Hill School with a donation of $1,000 toward their efforts to honor the late Mrs. Jordan Milhous Duran.

Mrs. Duran was a teacher and coach at Union Hill. This past September she passed from cancer. The Associated Student Body at Union Hill received approval to commission a bronze plaque to be installed below her retired jersey in the gymnasium. The plaque will be placed next to her four sports banners she earned, two as a student and two as a coach, next to the jersey.
