Jockey Jake Coen has been rushed to hospital after a terrifying incident in the parade ring at Punchestown.

Coen required medical attention after he was unseated before the race at Punchestown on Saturday. Racing at the Irish track was delayed, with the jockey ‘conscious and talking’. ‌

A post from IHRB Stewards on X confirmed a delay, as Dr Jennifer Pugh, chief medical officer for Irish Racing, later said: "Jake Coen has been stood down following a fall on the way to the start of race one at Punchestown. ‌
