Shoulder pain can be tough to handle, especially if you're job requires heavy lifting, but there are new procedures that doctors say are making a huge difference.

One viewer asked, "What exactly is reverse total shoulder replacement?"

Health Watch got the answer from Dr. Matthew Teusink at UNMC.

"A reverse total shoulder replacement does not imply that we put your shoulder on backwards when we replace it. All it simply means is that we replace the ball with the socket and the socket with a ball," Teusink said.

Teusink said the surgery provides a more stable pivot point for shoulder muscles to move.
