A huge police and forensic presence descended on Crawley when a dead body was found 'under blankets' on the backseat of a car in the Manor Royal area, not far from Gatwick Airport. The white BMW had reportedly been parked on the Crawley industrial estate since October before the corpse was discovered on Friday (June 6).
It is understood a recovery driver arrived to tow the car away on Friday, with reports it had been parked up on Whittle Way since as far back as October, when they spotted the body, as reports the Mirror .
