KOSCISUKO COUNTY, Ind. — An officer-involved shooting is under investigation after the Warsaw Police Department said a man led officers on a pursuit before ramming into a police vehicle.

According to detectives with the Indiana State Police, a Warsaw officer tried to conduct a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado just after 3:30 a.m. Saturday. The driver of the truck did not stop and led officers on a short pursuit. The fleeing driver eventually drove into a stationary Warsaw Police SUV near the intersection of SR 13 and E CR 150 North. The officer in the SUV was exiting his vehicle at the time of the collision and was later treated for a leg injury.
