A home which sparked furious opposition due to its green-brick extension is on the market just months after appearing on Tinie Tempah’s property show.
Interior designer Karim Mezeli and his partner Carly told the Extraordinary Extensions presenter about their project to build a £300,000 extension to change the orientation of the Broadstairs four-bed house so it faced the sea.
The couple wanted to “complement” the 1960s end-of-terrace in Wings Close by building the double-storey extension with a unique green-glazed brick in homage to a style historically associated with UK pubs.
But the home – named The Green Wing – is already on the market for a guide price of up to £1 million just months after the Channel 4 programme aired.
