U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman issued an injunction requiring AmeriCorps to reinstate millions of dollars in grants and restore thousands of volunteer service workers.

The order includes numerous young workers helping Western North Carolina's Tropical Storm Helene recovery, who had been sent home early from AmeriCorps programs in April.
