MARION, Iowa — The Marion Public Library is expanding its bookmobile service just in time for summer.

Starting Monday, the bookmobile will add Monday and Friday stops to its schedule, complementing its existing Tuesday and Thursday routes.

It will visit Lowe Park on Monday mornings and Taube Park on Monday afternoons. On Fridays, it will stop at Marion Pool in Willowood Park in the morning and Azure Apartments in the afternoon.

“We’re aiming to stop at a variety of places [across Marion] as we move into the summer months,” Bookmobile Team Lead Darryn Gradhandt said. “This expansion is about more than just convenience – it’s about ensuring that everyone in our community has access to the resources and services they need to learn and grow.”
