FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — The streets of historic Fernandina Beach were filled with color, music, and joy Saturday as hundreds gathered for the city’s fifth annual Pride Parade and Festival.

Hosted by Fernandina Beach Pride , a local nonprofit, the event brought together families, allies, and LGBTQ+ advocates from across Nassau County for a vibrant show of unity.

“Embrace what we have, not only the beautiful beaches, but the wonderful people,” said Andee Harbison, who attended the event with her husband, Mike.

Attendees told First Coast News pride month is not just a celebration, it’s a statement of inclusion.

“It’s really special that our community embraces everyone, not being picky about who they like and who they don't like. It’s nobody’s business but your own,” Harbison said.
