The City of Washington is looking into ways to curb late-night nuisances on the riverfront, which could include reinstalling a parking gate at James W. Rennick Riverfront Park.
City Administrator Darren Lamb, Police Chief Jim Armstrong and other members of the Washington Traffic Commission said at a Friday morning meeting they’ve spoken with numerous residents over the issue of nocturnal noise and antics on the riverfront. Front Street resident Doug Reed was back in front of the commission after appearing in May about the issue. ×
