COATSBURG, Ill. — A driver refused medical treatment after a Thursday night rollover crash near Coatsburg.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department said a 1995 Jeep driven by Steven Barry, 35, was heading west at 11:33 p.m. on U.S. 24, east of Coatsburg. Attempting to avoid an animal in the road, Barry lost control of the Jeep,which left the south side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned, the department said.

The department was assisted by the Central Adams Fire Department, Camp Point Fire Department, Adams County Ambulance and Illinois State Police.
