CHAPEL HILL — UNC baseball and Arizona wrap up the NCAA Tournament's Chapel Hill Super Regional at noon, Sunday, June 8, (ESPN2) from Boshamer Stadium.

The No. 5 overall seed Tar Heels (46-14), who are aiming for consecutive trips to the College World Series, will play in their second elimination game of the tournament. The Wildcats (43-19), who are in a super regional for the first time since 2021, bounced back from an 18-2 loss in Game 1 to earn a 10-8 win in Game 2 .

Since the NCAA went to the super regional format in 1999, UNC is 18-9 in super regional games. The Tar Heels have lost two of their previous three super regional series in Chapel Hill, but swept West Virginia in 2024.
