DUBOIS CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Dubois County Sheriff’s Office is warning the community about scam DMV texts.

Sheriff’s Office officials say if you’ve received messages from the DMV about an unpaid ticket or late fees to avoid clicking on any links in the message.

Officials ask you not to share any of your personal or financial information.

They also ask you to verify through official sources if you’re unsure about unpaid tolls.
