NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) - The president at Central Connecticut State University released a letter regarding an incident at her home on Friday evening.
President Zulma Toro began the letter by saying she was okay and was not physically hurt.
According to Toro, she received an envelope addressed to her that had no return address. When she opened the letter, she said an unknown substance was released.
Toro called the police immediately and confirmed state police took up the investigation.
She said her resolve to be a leader was not weakened by this “cruel incident” and she thanked everyone who helped her handle the situation.
