Since its founding a decade ago, the mission of the Franklin County Homeless Task Force hasn’t changed — even as the scope of its work has grown.
Task force members agree the number of county residents without homes has increased over the last 10 years, following the same trend as the rest of the state. Data collected each year for the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development shows Missouri’s rate of homelessness in 2024 was the highest it’s been over the last decade. ×
