Police in Coventry raided a home said to be linked to yob behaviour and drugs. Officers used a battering ram to access the address in Hillfields.

Coventry city centre police posted an image of an officer at the door holding the equipment used for gaining access.

It was captioned: "Hillfields neighbourhood team have conducted a drugs warrant at a local address.

"A community protection warning has been issued due to repeat anti social behaviour and drugs misuse."

A monthly message issued by Sgt O'Sullivan on West Midlands Police Updates highlighted key areas police were targeting to "tackle crime, protect businesses, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone".
